Current weather forecasts are predicting that Hurricane Gustav will make landfall somewhere along the Gulf Coast early next week. Current forecast indicates Gustav will be a major storm and could likely make landfall somewhere in Chandeleur's operating area. Based upon this information all production could be shut in as early as Saturday. Chandeleur Pipe Line will continue to monitor receipts into the system and will notify shippers as production is shut in. We encourage all shippers to maintain contact with their suppliers to facilitate operations. As previously reported, due to the anomaly discovered on the 16" mainline pipeline during repairs, as a precautionary measure, Chandeleur will continue to operate the 16" at reduced pressure. It is still currently anticipated that the 16" pipeline will be brought back to normal operating conditions in early 2006.
Until the 16" mainline resumes normal operating conditions, the following production points tied to the 16" mainline will be restricted to deliveries only to the Gulf South Pascagoula delivery point (DRN 12327) until the 16" pipeline can be returned to its normal operating pressure. Displacement deliveries to otherwise inaccessible delivery locations will be accomplished to the extent volumes are available.

Low pressure testing to confirm the integrity of the pipeline repairs is currently in process and dewatering activities will commence as soon as the integrity of the repairs is confirmed. Chandeleur 12" Mainline Repair Update Status:
Repairs are completed on the Chandeleur 12" mainline in the vicinity of Chandeleur Area 7. However, Chandeleur identified a need for additional repairs in a separate area of the 12" mainline in the vicinity of Breton Sound 26. Replacement pipe is on location and necessary work is currently under way. The additional repair work is anticipated to be complete next week. Consequently, dewatering of the entire 12" mainline and 12" lateral eastward toward MO 904 are currently anticipated to begin mid to late next week. Procedural walkthrough for final dewatering was held on Monday, November 7, onshore at Pascagoula. Return to service for the Chandeleur 12" pipeline is anticipated to occur during the week of November 21.
The anticipated return to service date is contingent on numerous factors, including successful completion of ongoing repairs, weather, and conditions related to the dewatering and stand-up pressure test. As the dewatering and stand-up operations progress, Shippers will be advised via this website when Chandeleur is prepared to accept nominations for flows on the 12" mainline.

Chandeleur Pipe Line 12" Pipeline Repair Status Update:
End connectors have been installed on the damaged section of the pipeline. All damaged 12" pipe has been removed from the right of way and loaded on the lay barge. New pipe has been loaded on the barge for delivery to the repair site. Repair activities are currently halted due to the uncertainty of Hurricane Wilma and its effects on the Gulf of Mexico. Initial procedures and contacts for the dewatering process is ongoing. The dewatering equipment is due to be assembled on site the week of October 24. Service on the 12" pipeline is currently anticipated to resume mid-November. The anticipated return to service date continues to be contingent on weather conditions in the Gulf and any other unexpected occurrences.

During repair operations of the 12" Chandeleur mainline, Chandeleur personnel have discovered an anomaly in its 16" mainline. As a precautionary measure, Chandeleur is lowering its pipeline overpressure protection device settings to 755 psig.
At this lower operating pressure, Chandeleur is no longer able to make deliveries into Destin Pipeline at Pascagoula, (DRN 294295; KAU-700). In accordance with Chandeleur's FERC Gas Tariff General Terms and Conditions Section 6.4, Chandeleur is providing notice that all deliveries (both FT & IT) into Destin are being reduced to EPSQ for gas day 10/20/2005 and will be further reduced to a scheduled volume of zero effective gas day 10/21/2005.

Safety procedures effectuated in preparation for Hurricane Rita have necessitated the evacuation of work crews and caused a delay in further testing of Chandeleur's system or recommissioning of any additional segments of pipe. Consequently, portions of the Chandeleur system that lie in shallow water remain to be surveyed by side scan. Data evaluation from completed surveys is ongoing. Force Majeure remains in effect on portions of the Chandeleur Pipe Line system as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Instrumentation indicates that the Chandeleur system has experienced a loss of pressure on its 12" and 16" lines extending between the Main Pass area and onshore, Pascagoula. Chandeleur has begun conducting a side scan sonar survey of its 12" and 16" lines and weather conditions allowed 24 miles of survey to be completed for both pipelines. A collapsed depression in the vicinity of Chandeleur Area Block 7 was noted on September 11, 2005. Chandeleur continues simultaneous damage assessment operations both onshore at Pascagoula, MS and offshore on the 12" and 16" pipelines.
